The 2015-2016 La Junta Elks #701 Hoop Shoot contest was held this past Saturday at Otero Junior College’s McDivitt Center.

This year marks the 44th anniversary of the national free throw shooting contest for youngsters ages 8 through 13. Contestants' age group is determined by their ages as of April 1, 2016.
