Ag Journal Ag Award Presented at La Junta Chamber of Commerce Banquet
The Ag Journal will present our 2018 Ag Award during the La Junta Chamber of Commerce 118th Annual Banquet on Monday, January 28 in the OJC Rizzuto Banquet Room at 6:00 p.m.
Every year the Ag Journal editor picks a family or an individual in the Arkansas Valley who has contributed greatly to the agricultural industry and the Arkansas Valley communities.

Southeast Crops and Livestock Expo(SCALE)
Lamar Community College and CSU Southeast Area Agronomy are providing a great day of FREE information for producers and those interested in agriculture at the 3rd Annual Southeast Crops and Livestock Expo at the LCC Wellness Center on February 8 from 8:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m.
The day features Colorado State University College of Agricultural Sciences economists providing an ag outlook and strategy session along with a presentation by former Colorado Ag Commissioner Don Brown. A trade show of agriculture supporters and vendors will happen throughout the day in the Wellness Center gym.

Participants are asked to submit a 1-2 minute video explaining how Colorado potatoes power their performance, as part of their Connecting Educators to Colorado Agriculture in the Classroom campaign.
